Congratulations to our 2013 Giving Program Award Recipients
- Project Sweet Peas
- Give Hope, Fight Poverty
- Mental Health of Fredricksburg
- Everybody Eats!
- The Child Abuse Prevention Center
When selecting award recipients, Head Shop reviews the required criteria, but also strives to award organizations with diverse missions and goals. This year our grants will support: programs to enrich the lives of orphans by providing free education, offering treatment to those with mental illnesses, reducing cases of child abuse and neglect, providing local food and new farming opportunities, and offering assistance to families experiencing the pain of infant loss.
About Head Shop Giving
We are continually inspired by the important work of our clients and others in the nonprofit industry, and have developed Head Shop Giving™ to further promote this work. Head Shop Giving supports selected nonprofits through the donation of a percentage of our annual profits as well as in-kind services. While we do not have a particular area of focus and grant awards where we see the greatest need, all recipient organizations must have a budget of less than $1 million USD. As Head Shop grows as a company, we are able to provide increased support to our communities.
