Prior to calling, please have the following information at hand:
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:
- Your organization’s EIN or Federal ID #
- For businesses: Social Security number and Date of Birth of primary owner (in addition to business EIN)
- For Smoke Shop Business Owners: Please Apply Online App Here
- Your bank’s name, address, phone number and 9 digit routing number
- Your bank account number (where you will receive funds)
- Expected monthly sales volume (includes all credit card funds you will process ie donations)
American Express Requirements:
AmEx has their own underwriting and boarding process. When we submit your merchant services application, we will ask if you wish to apply to accept AmEx cards. If so, non-profits (as well as businesses) will need to supply the Social Security number and date of birth of a designated account signer. For merchants that have an existing American Express merchant account, please have the 10 digit merchant account number ready so that we can associate it with your new merchant account. (This is not the same as your AmEx credit card number.)
